People and Process Manager - Technology & Services

What's this gig about?

Our Technology and services teams is the heart of our organisation and the key factor to our current success. As we expand our company and business rapidly, the demand of leadership and structure increase daily. We need you to help us continue strengthen our Tech Teams.

What should I bring?

A well-documented history of managing Tech teams within the IT-industry.

This is not a job for beginners, we need you to have proof of previous positions similar to this. We will check up references.

A good understanding of Cloud Service distribution and Open-Source Technology. 

Fluent communication skills in both Swedish and English.


Are there formal education requirements I need to meet, such as a degree in a particular field?

It’s not a demand but preferable if you have a degree and or training in HR-Management, Team development and or any formal leadership training.


Who would be my direct manager?

You will report to our HR Manager and work close with our CTO.


What are my responsibilities?

Your task is to manage our Technology & Services teams from a People and Process perspective, meaning tasks like but not limited to:

  • Recruitment of employees and consultants 
  • Compensation/Salary
  • Onboarding
  • Personal development plans
  • Personal performance follow up
  • HR related admin such as agreements, schedules, time report, vacation etc
  • Work environment


Way of work structure

  • WoW framework (For example Scrum Agile/Agile Kanban etc) 
  • Facilitate Daily check-ins, grooming, planning, retrospectives and big room planning



  • Responsible for communications with other line managers and company management
  • Represents department in non tech matters

Can I work from home?

Yes! As we are in a strange situation in terms of how we can or can’t meet our colleagues until the world goes back to normal again. We work 100% from home and our teams work as distributed teams across Sweden and Europe. We expect you to be able to handle your duties with a “remote first” mindset and that will continue to be part of the deal even when we can come back to our offices in Stockholm and Karlskrona as per normal.


What employment conditions apply?

This is a full time position with 6 weeks' vacation. We have a company policy that specifies a 6-month probation period.

If you live in Sweden or Germany, you would be directly employed by City Network International AB or our German subsidiary.

If you live in any country other than Sweden or Germany (but within EU), we will enter into a contractor agreement as applicable to the legal situation in your country.

Salary and compensation will be negotiated during the interview process.
