City Network is on an exciting journey providing Enterprises and the public sector with regulatory compliant, cloud-based infrastructure services. We are looking for a Head of Customer Engagement to manage the team in charge of all revenue-generating activities and initiatives within the company.

Role and responsibilities: 

As Head of Customer Engagement, you will be leading a seven-person department consisting of KAM, SDM, Enterprise-, Partner- and tech pre-sales. Some of your responsibilities will be to manage your department's budget, the sales pipeline and onboarding as well as managing and developing processes such as onboarding, customer growth and continuous improvement.

You will also take care of our Education & Documentation team as we would like to educate our customers about our features/products.

We see your role as cross-functional in terms of communication with other departments such as Technology & Services, Security and Marketing assuring we have a relevant service offering and awareness in the market.

Our Head of Customer Engagement reports directly to the VP of City Network and is part of the management team. You can work remotely from anywhere within the EU, and the job requires business travel. To ensure that you will have an optimal chance of quickly settling into your new role, we think it would be best to have experience in successfully leading a distributed team.


  • Prior commercial management experience, preferably within Sales and KAM/SDM organisations.
  • Proven people skills and the ability to demonstrate strong leadership.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Superior skills in sales pipeline management.
  • Merit: Skills in the German language

  • Prior experience in corporate management.
  • A genuine interest in new technologies and advising clients on digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good with numbers.
  • Able to communicate concisely and clearly in English.
  • Well-organised and structured.
  • A team player.
